I got a pleasant surprise today as i opened my email.
i haven't been checking the newspapers lately so i didn't know that my photo entry won last week's Thailand's Top Destinations photo contest.
The photo below was published in the Bangkok Post, Thailand's english Newspaper. i googled for an online edition of the newspaper and found a (really really small!) thumbnail of that april 24 issue. it's printed on the upper right side of the paper.
*update: the prize is a voucher for an overnight stay in Horseshoe Point Resort and Country Club, plus a round of golf or a lunch at Siam Country Club Pattaya Plantation.

i just got the mail tonight. huhu. just when i'm about to leave thailand.
The voucher is good for a one night stay (two superior rooms for FOUR PERSONS!) at the resort, and a complimentary green fee (for a group of FOUR) at Siam Country Club Pattaya Plantation, or complimentary lunch at the Clubhouse of SCC.
Since the voucher was transferrable, I gave my prize to the regent scholastics here in Thailand as a token of thanks for the wonderful experience that I had here in Thailand. They were very excited and happy when I told them that I would give them my prize.
I photocopied a copy of the voucher just to show my parents about it. hehehe. Even if I won't get to enjoy the reward, I'm still feeling quite giddy just taking home the empty envelope and the photocopied voucher with me., hahahah.
wow!!! don't worry your next stop is US! work on your VISA. then visit me. let's go to Atlantic city, New York and Las Vegas!
